To start off, I walked in wearing nice shorts and a button up shirt and I was swiftly relegated to a side room with the other commoners. Lunch for two topped $200 - A little bit more than I'm used to paying, but the portions are generous and the food was amazing. The music was a bit too loud, Next time I will dress appropriately so I can sit with the more elite customers.

What an amazing beautiful restaurant it's cozy and elegant and we came with our friends that were celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. The staff were kind and attentive to us all, and the food was so yummy, and its presentation was amazing. My wife had the snapper, Milagros, and I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Papa had a delicious steak and oysters along with great Martini and wine. After savoring all the great dishes, we ordered a sweet cake for the love birds celebrating their anniversary, and we walked into the garden to take photos. Thanks for the hospitality and great food. I must visit again when visiting Texas.

Food is always superior. This is our go-to place for a cozy, romantic dinner for two or to entertain friends/family from out of town. Brenner's has always had great service and I would think they spend a lot of energy training these folks to give service equal to the wonderful ambiance of the restaurant. We just returned from another great dinner there and had the pleasure of getting Chris as our waiter. Charming man who was as solicitous as he was smooth. Would highly recommend this place for high quality food, excellent service and cozy, welcoming ambiance.

We went for our 2nd Anniversary and it was everything I had hoped it to be. Beautiful ambiance, delicious food and excellent service from our waiter, Chris. He really helped make our date night extra special!

Nice steakhouse. Service was great. Trying to be different, i ordered the chicken fried beef tenderloin which is their version of chicken fried steak. Otw was pretty good. The Au Gratin potatoes were amazing.

This place has a gorgeous atmosphere, top notch service, and delicious food! It's been 24 years since my previous dining experience for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. In 2000, reviews and social media weren't available, so I'm excited I finally get to review this place! The picturesque restaurant is perfect for celebrating big events or just a night out for drinks and appetizers in the bar area. Having done both of these, I can say I was exceptionally pleased with both of my experiences. Even though my first experience was 24 years ago, it was very memorable. We sat in the main dining area next to a large window which was perfect for viewing the lavish courtyard. My first time there was during the afternoon in the month of May. Everything was great. Our service for a table of 9 was first class. The courtyard was so well maintained and makes you feel like you're in a different country. It is absolutely the prettiest restaurant scenery in Houston! My second time to Brenner's was at night, also in the month of May. I figured I wouldn't get as much of a view since it was dark outside, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The courtyard was illuminated with beautiful string lighting to see all the waterfalls, greenery, and pathways. I can't express enough how lovely the space is and how much I enjoyed it. I'm sure the courtyard has seen its share of proposals. It's exactly what a woman imagines and the backdrop would be perfect for photographing the memorable moment. We sat in the bar area for a drink and to split a couple appetizers. The service was fantastic. Both servers behind the bar were friendly and fun. They make a great Old Fashioned! We ordered the crab cake and the Bang Bang Rock shrimp. I've never been a huge crab cake fan, until now! That was the best crab cake I've ever had, hands down! We ordered it because the bartender said it was the best in town and he was right! I always order crab cakes hoping to find one I like, but I've been unsuccessful until now. The bite sized shrimp appetizer was also very good. Nice crisp and a light sauce. I would order both items again. Brenner's sells cigars and even has a cigar menu. This place is swanky but also low key. You'll see women in cocktail dresses, but also women in jeans; men in suits, but also men in jeans. I wouldn't advise showing up in shorts and flip flops, but you don't have to be dressed to the nines. Expect to spend more than a regular night (or day) out, but know you'll remember the experience fondly, and you'll feel it was totally worth it!

I came here for a large group work dinner in their private dining room and it was a really nice experience. Service was very attentive, efficient, and friendly and the food quality was top notch, which I found impressive given the size of the group we had (around 50 attendees). Their steaks were cooked perfectly and seasoned simply so that the cut of meat could shine through. They have a lovely outdoor patio space I encourage you to utilize if weather permits - it is an oasis that makes you forget that you are next to I-10. Parking: lot is split between self parking and valet.

Great food and amazing service. We were fortunate enough to meet our server, Amanda. She provided great recommendations, and made the evening incredibly enjoyable. The food is absolutely incredible. Perfectly prepared steaks, tasty sides and unbelievable desserts. 11/10!

This was my first time at this location and everything was superb. Easy to make reservation online. We came here for a group dinner for Houston Restaurant Week. Service was excellent and attentive. This place has an intimate ambience and their outdoor area was beautiful. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly to my liking. We also opted for the lamb as well. The portion was perfect and went well with the mashed potatoes. After dinner, we checked out the outdoor area and loved the set up of nature. Overall, I would recommend this place for a nice fine dining experience.
